Standard Materials has been producing and providing Ready-Mix Concrete for over two-thirds of a century in the New Orleans Northshore market. It is the longest continuously operating concrete producer in this area, having been founded by Robert L. Scogin, Sr. in Slidell, Louisiana in 1953.
